Adam Smith

Adam Smith is one of the most established, knowledgeable and successful sports broadcasters in the industry.

Adam is the lead boxing commentator for DAZN and he enjoys a weekly show on talkSPORT radio.

A trained journalist, Adam writes for The Ring, and prior to his work with DAZN he enjoyed 3 decades at Sky Sports as their Head of Boxing and long-time lead commentator.

He is an Ambassador for LoungesTV, and has his own successful YouTube channel - The Voice of Boxing.

Adam’s time at Sky ended when he took a year out in 2023 - fighting invasive, advanced bladder cancer which nearly took his life. Adam lost his bladder, prostate and 19 lymph nodes and has a permanent stoma. Adam’s perspective on life changed forever and he has battled his way back - mentally and physically - into the sport he loves, as well as being a motivational speaker.

Adam is an Ambassador for Fight Bladder Cancer and a trustee for the Ricky Hatton Foundation after his close friend died tragically in 2025. Adam is healthy and grateful for every day.

A hugely popular TV presenter, commentator, author and television leader, Adam is a Broadcast Award and RTS Award winner and has been nominated for a BAFTA, SJA and The Sports Book Awards for his fascinating first book, Beautiful Brutality. Adam is also the former Chairman of The Boxing Writers' Club. Adam is busy writing a new book on boxing legend Ricky Hatton which is due to be published in 2026.
