
NICK BRIGHT
Nick Bright is a dynamic British radio and television presenter best known for his flagship weekend mid-morning show on BBC Radio1Xtra, where he’s been a permanent fixture for over a decade.
Nick's journey began behind the scenes at BBC Radio1Xtra while still at university, and it wasn’t long before he landed his own show. 15 years later and he is still waking up the nation on Saturday mornings with celeb guests and the fan favourite segment, ‘My Dad Describes’.
A familiar face across BBC Sport and 5Live, Bright regularly fronts major coverage including The
Hundred cricket tournament, FA People’s Cup, and sports discussion shows like The Squad.
Nick’s versatility stretches far beyond radio, his passion for sport has been a big drive in his career. He fronted his own World Cup chat show for the BBC, Barbershop Ballers, and has been a regular
contributor to Football Focus over the years.
A lifelong Arsenal fan, Nick has presented several of the club’s official digital matchday shows, such as Breakdown Live and Arsenal Nation Live, engaging fans with exclusive insights and guest interviews.
Nick’s work in sport has expanded to being the ‘in venue host’ for sporting events such as Baller
League, The Six Nations, Rugby League and Formula E.
During the Paris Olympics, Nick was co-host for the Team GB House - a nightly show in the Team GB Lounge alongside a host of special guests from the worlds of sport and entertainment.
