ORIGINAL FLAVA
Brothers Shaun and Craig McAnuff discovered their love for cooking while helping out their Jamaican mum and grandma in the kitchen when they were growing up. A passion for Caribbean food led to them founding Original Flava in 2016, originally as an online platform with the goal of showing the world there’s more to Jamaican cuisine than just jerk chicken.
Fast forward nearly a decade, and South Londoners Shaun and Craig now have restaurant residencies in Brixton, Peckham and Richmond with more planned, three best-selling cookbooks, close to 1m social followers, a weekly reach of 8.5m, and over 100m views on their mouth-watering, innovative and always accessible videos.
Impressive social numbers and a brand-friendly approach have already led to collaborations with M&S, Guinness, Le Creuset, Grace Foods and more. Always on the go, Shaun and Craig have also taken Original Flava on the road with pop-up supper clubs filling venues around the UK from Bristol and Birmingham to Leeds and Manchester.
The pair are often called on as speakers and love to inspire a next generation of chefs. They’re also no strangers to television and have already appeared on a range of shows, including regular contributions on Sky Sports, Sunday Brunch and Mary Berry’s Love To Cook.
