This week, Ryan Leonard signed a loan deal with Millwall from Sheffield United - a move that will become a permanent transfer in January. And Millwall will pay what is a club-record, undisclosed fee for them for the midfielder. Ryan made a total of 17 appearances in all competitions for Sheffield United, including four this season.

Speaking of Ryan, Millwall manager Neil Harris said "He's a very talented player. He is very much your modern day player. He's athletic, has a great mentality, and is a winner. Ryan's a really good lad."

Ryan will have to wait until after the international break to make his Millwall debut, but he is eager to make an impact amongst his new team-mates. He told “I'm very happy to be here and looking forward to getting the Millwall shirt on and getting going with playing games.”

Congratulations Ryan and good luck for the season!
