Crown Football Round-Up (14/02/2020)

Ryan Kent and Rangers booked their place in the last 8 of the Scottish Cup. Rangers overcame Hamilton 4-1, seeing them progress to the next round. Ryan Kent provided an assist for the team's second goal, as Joe Aribo calmly slotted in a Ryan Kent cross from eight yards. Rangers will now face a trip to Hearts in the quarter-final.

Stephy Mavididi now scored 6 goals in 7 games for FCO Dijon. His latest goals came in a 3-3 draw against Nantes in Ligue 1. Stephy produced a clinical performance, scoring 2 goals from his only 2 shots of the match. Stephy scored his first brace in Ligue 1 Conforama. He is the second DFCO player to mark one this season, after Mama Baldé against Stade Brestois.

Byron Moore and Plymouth Argyle claimed three points in the opening minute of injury-time, in a 3-2 win over Salford City. Argyle went ahead in a competitive and sometimes feisty game through Byron Moore midway through the first half. Argyle took the lead with a move of genuine quality, when Sarcevic sent a curving cross into the box, finding Byron Moore's feet who spun around and fired home.

Matt Jay's penalty proved to be a turning point in Exeter City's 5-1 win over Oldham Athletic. City took the lead after 20 minutes with the best move of the game up to that point, with Jayden Richardson finishing off a slick pass from Matt Jay. With 41 minutes gone in the game Matt converted from the penalty spot to give the Grecians the lead at half-time. The Grecians would double their lead five minutes into the second-half to make it 3-1 following a short corner routine. And when Ryan Bowman added a fourth with an excellent header on the hour mark following Matt Jay’s cross, it seemed as though the game was put to bed.
