TORIE CAMPBELL
Torie Campbell is a presenter and sports reporter who loves a challenge and is more than happy to chat to the camera from a helicopter, whilst driving a powerboat, or at high speed on a racetrack!
Torie fronted One Second in F1 Racing, a TV series for CNBC which aired to a global platform. The series took an in-depth look at the sport, giving an insight into the engineering, technical and sporting side of Formula One. She also investigated the links between the extensive research and development within the sport and how it is transferred to our everyday road car technology.
A familiar face within Formula One, she has had the opportunity to get access behind the scenes, interviewing some of the leading personalities and legends of the sport. She has spent time with many of the drivers throughout their careers, including Lewis Hamilton, who she has frequently interviewed. She is a regular at Silverstone, providing live commentary at the Formula One Grand Prix and hosting hospitality stage areas for the teams.
She loves the thrill of live broadcast and presenting in front of crowds. Torie has presented on the Mercedes Benz stage area at the Goodwood Festival of Speed for the past 5 years, during which she has launched new cars to the world press, interviewed many big names, and entertained the crowds. Her knowledge and experience have given her a great reputation within the motoring industry. She has written and presented for some of the biggest car manufacturers and motoring publications and has reported from leading car shows across the globe.
Torie is an accomplished sports reporter and has fronted the Formula 4-Stroke (ITV4), World Powerboat Championships (Sky Sports), launched the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and has interviewed some of the biggest names in sport on the red carpet at the Laureus World Sports Awards. She has contributed to F1 punditry for Love Sport Radio along with guest appearances for BBC 5 Live and the BBC Breakfast sofa.
Other than adrenaline-fuelled sports, her versatile presenting style has seen her covering the gossip and chat from the front row at New York Fashion Week, checking out the latest releases at the world’s largest gaming events, interviewing on the red carpet at film premieres, and fronting an online celebrity news channel.
Torie has a real love of the outdoors and has a passion for fitness and well-being – hiking and yoga are a big part of her daily routine. She is currently studying with The British Wheel of Yoga, which includes an in-depth study into anatomy and physiology, alongside the practice itself.
It would be fair to say Torie’s most challenging yet rewarding job to date has been her venture into being a mum. Now one of her little boys is old enough to realise mum ‘gets to play with cars’ for her job, he’s super proud!
